Signing process
- The client’s system sends a message with the document to be signed to the File Gateway Services.
- File Gateway Services generates a hash value of the document and sends it to the signer along with a personalized message.
- The signer signs the hash value with their private key and sends this signature back to File Gateway Services.
- In File Gateway Services, the signature is paired with a certificate, creating a signed document.
- The signed document is then sent back to the client’s system or stored in NFQES.
